Lily Norrington Floral Design

About

I’m Lily, the florist behind Lily Norrington Floral Design, based in Woking, Surrey. I’m currently on maternity leave with my baby boy, Bertie, and in between family life I’m building the business I’ve always dreamed of. It’s still early days, which means every wedding, event, and new client genuinely means the world to me.

I’ve always loved flowers, but it was weddings that made me want to become a florist. That led me to a career course with The Flower Appreciation Society, covering every aspect of event floristry from sourcing and conditioning flowers to creating floral proposals, larger installations, bridal bouquets, buttonholes, flower crowns, tablescapes, and vase arrangements.

How I work

Everything I create starts with the season. I love working with flowers that are naturally at their best, sourcing British-grown blooms whenever possible and building relationships with local flower farms throughout the growing season. Sustainability is a core part of my business. I work without floral foam, choose reusable and recyclable mechanics, and make thoughtful sourcing decisions that reduce waste while creating beautiful, natural designs.

As a one-woman studio, I look after every stage of the process myself. From our first conversation to sourcing flowers and installing them on the day, you’ll always work directly with me. My style is natural, textural and slightly wild – flowers that feel relaxed rather than overly styled, with movement, character and a sense that they truly belong in the space.

Location

I’m based in Woking, Surrey, and provide floristry across Surrey, London and the surrounding counties, including Hampshire, Berkshire, Sussex and Kent. While weddings are my main focus, I’m always happy to hear about brand activations, editorial projects, private events and intimate celebrations.

If you’re looking for seasonal, sustainable flowers with a personal approach, I’d love to hear what you’re planning.
